The Role

Overview

Lead and develop the Wichita transportation team, overseeing projects, quality, and business development.

Tasks

-Function as a senior project manager on projects in addition to management responsibilities, and also be administratively responsible for the group’s staff and technical service functions. -Manage, supervise, and mentor staff; provide technical direction and services. -Assist with developing and implementing strategies to grow business and diversify the HDR client base in the Wichita area. -Hire, train, and develop technical team members. -Assist the HDR Kansas Transportation leadership team with preparation of annual revenue forecasts and budgets; monitor performance of the business group; and lead business development that matches the interests and skill sets of the Wichita transportation team. -Oversee quality of deliverables; manage projects, and market and position HDR for client and project pursuits. -Work cooperatively with MO/KS Transportation Business Group Manager to coordinate services with other business lines in the company. -Represent HDR in Wichita area community and industry events and functions.

What You Bring

-Local candidates highly preferred. -Experience in the management and development of multidiscipline teams is important. -PE or equivalent licensure preferred. -Transportationrelated project experience preferred. -Business development and ability to cultivate relationships preferred.
