Project Accounting Coordinator

Tasks

-Create and manage project codes, billing structures, and WBS (w ork breakdown structure ) in ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint). -Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection. -Record incoming payments and reconcile them with invoices. -Prepare and process client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. -Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries. -Liaise with project managers, procurement, and accounts payable to resolve financial queries. -Support onboarding and training of new team members, including global support teams. -Support revenue recognition and month-end close activities. -Track reimbursable expenses, consultant fees, and ensure compliance with contract terms. -Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate project configuration and updates. -Assist in implementing new tools and systems to streamline financial workflows. -Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives in project accounting.
