Overview

Testing, commissioning, maintenance and repair of substation and power assets.

Tasks

-Managing substation, transformers and switch gear maintenance, repairs, and installations -Carry out relevant quality checks and audits -Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to trouble shoot and solve equipment

What You Bring

-Proven experience with HV, substation, or power transmission is highly desirable -Prior experience with Transpower is considered a significant advantage -Strong background working on electrical distribution networks -Practical industry related experience is essential -Minimum 5+ years industry experience in power assets -Hold registration (full, provisional, or limited) from the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer -Fault finding, installation, testing, programming, maintenance and repair of substation and electrical assets. -Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical certificate or licence
