Overview

Design water/wastewater utilities, grading, stormwater, permits, and client coordination

Tasks

-Support other market sectors on design projects as workload dictates -Develop project designs, plan drawings, engineering reports, technical specifications, and other contract deliverables -Track project progress within established project scopes, budgets, and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect them -Present design projects, as required, as part of outreach to clients and the public -Prepare clear and concise written communications and participate in client and team meetings -Conduct research and write technical portions of proposals to assist in bringing in new work -Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve our clients’ technical challenges

What You Bring

-AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS experience (support will be provided by drafting technicians and EITs). -An eye for detail and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines -The ability to contribute to multiple projects concurrently -Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) -5+ years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis on design -A Professional Civil Engineer license -A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering -Strong verbal and written communication skills
