Collections Team Leader

Overview

Lead and manage the aged debt collections team to maximize payments.

Tasks

-Motivate and inspire the team, using appropriate training methods and engagement activities to investigate and action overdue accounts -To support the team to deliver an exceptional cash collection and account resolution, payment processing and debt recovery process for all customers across PWS. -Building and inspiring a team to achieve elevated resolutions of ageing debt with a high standard of customer service -You will be the first point of contact for all Debt staff along with providing support and guidance in all areas of their role. -Ensuring that all daily tasks are completed through monitoring and workflow management.

What You Bring

-Provide excellent levels of customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage difficult customer situations -Able to demonstrate understanding of litigation process and a sound understanding of business goals and objectives -Previous experience of working in credit management and/or collections in a supervisory capacity -Educated to GCSE, grade A-C or equivalent
