Lead a team in cost engineering, scheduling, risk, and project controls for large EPC projects.

Tasks

-Identifies schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces -Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports -Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors -Works with other supervisors and management team members to support PC and projects operations -Monitors and reports critical path and schedule performance of the total project -Conducts project schedule analysis & studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities -Investigates the requirements for estimating and/or cost control data -Coordinates with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs -Responsible for the establishment and continued improvement of project functional stakeholder relationships towards effective PERM execution and Customer interface with PERM activities including training as necessary -Independently carries out and deliver PERM activities -Provides oversight, training, mentoring, and ensures accountability of Project Risk Coordinator(s) towards attainment of project PERM objectives -Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures -Identifies restraints and effect on total project schedule -Supervises the work of Support-level or junior Professional personnel -Manages PERM performance requirements, metrics, and reporting standards incl. suggestions related to risk breakdown structures, risk libraries, risk identification tools & frameworks in support of project needs -Coordinates cost recording, monitoring, & reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards -Frequently interacts and partners with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups -Provides leadership in the administration of Project Controls activities such as input for weekly project action items list, maintains databases, prepares reports, and provides additional supervision -Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action -Assists with management decisions and activities -Coordinates non-routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs to projects -Assists, when requested, in the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans -Collects and classify cost data -Obtains required schedule information by all disciplines/functions -Collects and analyzes alternatives for schedule improvement to project team for discussion and/or decision -Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency -Facilitates and conducts project risk reviewsLeads risk workshops, interviews & information gathering relating to risk identification, review, and updateCarries out risk quantification activities as required -Coordinates the total integration of schedule activities

-Recognizes that erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause schedule delay -Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules -Preferred - Experience of using Primavera (P6), ECOSYS and basic capability of developing Power BI Dashboards -Typically requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience -Home office experience of minimum 2 years as Project Controls Lead in a large-scale EPC project supervising a team of schedulers and cost professionals -Skilled in oral and written communication.
