Tasks

As a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer, you will work closely with Directors, Business Development, and Marketing teams to develop business opportunities with new and existing clients. You will meet clients to define scopes of work and develop proposals, while supporting the technical development of junior staff. -Lead and grow a team, oversee surveys, design work, technical reports, contract administration, and client liaison -Mentor junior team members and support their professional development -Manage a variety of small to medium projects with minimal supervision -Deliver work to a high standard, on time and within budget

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills -Proficient in relevant drawing and design software -Experience in building surveys and structural assessments is beneficial -Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards -Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline -Ability to manage and mentor multiple team members -Commercially aware with project management experience -Familiar with JCT contracts and Building Regulations -Ideally Chartered or progressing toward a professional qualification (MRICS, CEng with ICE and/or IStructE) -Broad capability in building structures with substantial experience -Strong track record in project management, surveys, and contract administration -Ideally MRICS (or working towards it)
