The Role
Overview
Manage daily construction activities for rail infrastructure projects, focusing on heavy piling.

Tasks
-Reporting: Provide formal updates on contract progress to the Contracts Manager. -Budget Management: Deliver the project within the designated programme and budget while managing site staff and surveyor interactions to avoid exceeding tender allowances. -Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor contract progress to meet objectives and facilitate contractual changes in collaboration with the site team. -Contract Execution: Ensure adherence to applicable legislation, contract terms and conditions, health and safety plans, work package plans, and quality/environmental plans.

What You Bring
-Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, PTS). -Civils CRE - C competence (Contractors Responsible Engineer) -Experience as a Sub Agent or Site Agent within a rail or civil engineering contracting environment. -Previous experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent in a rail or civil engineering environment, preferably with Access for All works or similar station infrastructure/upgrade projects. -Degree/HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent technical engineering experience. -Heavy piling experience is essential.
