Overview

Performs routine building and grounds cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Tasks

-Replaces light bulbs. Assists with maintenance of grass and landscaped areas, including grass mowing and prun. -Dusts, polishes furniture and empties waste baskets. -Performs routine building and grounds cleanup. -Observes safe work practices. -Rakes and washes walks and roadways. Shovels snow and spreads salt on icy pavements. -Works from scaffolds or ladders to clean walls, ceilings and fixtures. -Makes minor repairs and adjustments to buildings, furniture and equipment. -Washes wall surfaces, baseboards and windows. Helps move furniture and sets up equipment. -Maintains cleaning supplies and sweeps. -Sweeps, cleans, dusts, waxes and buffs floors. Operates powered cleaning machines.
