Full-cycle accounting for senior living communities, reporting, budgeting, Yardi.

Tasks
-Review and interpret financial statements including cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets. -Own accurate financial reporting for Senior Living communities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and audit standards. -Partner with and provide strategic guidance to Regional Business Office Managers to drive operational excellence. -Reconcile balance sheet accounts, explain variances, and correct discrepancies. -Support cash flow management, including AP review, payment scheduling, and receipt posting. -Serve as the Yardi subject matter expert, ensuring data accuracy and improving processes. -Assist with annual budgets and forecasts using current and historical financial data. -Creating Homes for People Who Need It Most: Providing new beginnings for residents seeking affordable, safe and high-quality housing where they can thrive. -Collaborate with the Director of Finance – SLO to refine processes and best practices in Yardi. -Align business office processes and training strategies to enhance efficiency and achieve goals. -Maintain reliable connectivity for effective communication in a remote environment. -Direct financial transitions related to acquisitions, sales, and restructurings. -Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, investor reporting, and regulatory submissions. -Prepare accounting entries, analyze financial data, and ensure accuracy of revenue and expense reporting. -Lead financial close coordination with RBOMs and BOMs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience in an accounting role with full cycle accountability. -Effective communicator with operations leaders, executives, investors, and teammates. -Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. -3+ years of Senior Living Accounting experience in a Yardi environment is highly desirable. -Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax accounting, budgeting, and senior living business operations. -Strong analytical and judgment skills to support complex decision-making. -Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen -Confident presenter of financial information and insights. -Familiarity with debt structures and related documentation. -Skilled in analyzing financial reports and accounting data.
