Overview
Assist in design & creation of transportation construction documents and modeling
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Evaluating the drainage needs of open channels and storm sewer systems thru hydrology and hydraulic calculations -Calculating quantities and assisting in submittal production thru plan sheet setup and technical drafting. -Designing traffic components of both permanent, and temporary traffic control during construction -Determining construction perimeters by 3D modeling of roadway corridors. -Establishing the roadway geometric design for both horizontal and vertical alignments including super elevation.

What You Bring
-Strong communication skills -Experience with MicroStation, Geopak/InRoads, and Open Roads -2-8 years of related experience -Familiarity with AASHTO's highway and traffic publications -Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on TDOT transportation projects -Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on transportation projects -Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program -Strong working knowledge of MS Office
