Tasks

-Deliver quality work via Commissioning / Emulation, Testing, and Simulation, as well as direct oversight and inspection of systems design, installation, and programming. -Ensure Building Automation systems are optimized and ready to meet the mission of controlling and monitoring all the points without alarms and overrides. -Be the go-to person on-site for the operation and maintenance of the BAS system for the client. -Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines and identify and develop new business opportunities. -Audit programming on graphical displays and other computer based interfaces for control systems.

What You Bring

-Requires proficiency in configuring, maintaining and calibrating Building Automation technology components, and connectivity. -Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain up to a Top Secret clearance due to our customer requirements and the nature of the work that we do. -Experience with HMI’s. -OSHA 30 hour certificate. -An Active Secret or higher Security Clearance. -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or another related discipline or a 2-year associates degree in BAS, HVAC Controls, or HVAC engineering technologies. -Demonstrate your strong leadership skills across all areas of responsibility, sowing an environment that supports high level achievement. -Requires at least 8 years of experience with field installation, maintenance or programming BAS such as Metasys™, DisTech™, Niagara™, or similar building automation system. -Tridium Niagara 4 or other relevant BAS certification. -Must have a High School Diploma and at least 10 years of experience with BACnet, LON, MODBUS or other related HVAC or industrial automation, programming, or installation experience may be substituted based on your skillset. -Must be able to walk construction sites with uneven surfaces, carry up to 25 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors in severe weather conditions, in confined spaces, and in dust generating environments. -Must have knowledge of Automation Networks such as BACnet, LON, MODBUS, and others and specifically Industrial/Automation IP networking. This role requires that you know how to get a laptop plugged into and connected to appropriate controllers. -Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required. -Active or ability to obtain a Low voltage electrical license. -Must be able to maintain spatial awareness and comply with safety standards while working near mechanical and electrical building equipment and systems.
