Tasks

-Review and analyze commissioning data to identify patterns, trends, or areas of concern. -Audit and improve Installation, Commissioning, and Operation & Maintenance procedures for BESS products. -Assist with data collection, testing, and verification activities of new products and sub-systems. -Collaborate with design engineers, compliance engineers, product safety engineers, and technicians regarding hardware and software design. -Ensure that procedures align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company standards. -Document findings, observations, and any issues encountered.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, UL). -Previous internship experience in a related field. -Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and battery technology. -Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding). -Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. -Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and energy storage control systems (ESCS). -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB). -Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship

Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible. -Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location. -Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services -GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans.
