Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager - Mechanical Design 1

Overview

Produce and manage mechanical design drawings, layouts, 3D assemblies and BOMs.

Tasks

-To prepare assemblies in 3D, and generate assembly and detail drawings -Identification of critical problems and work out with specified time frames -To prepare line layouts, foundation layouts, assignments for structure and civil -Planning of drawings according to the requirement. -Ensuring errorless drawing generation. -To prepare bill of materials for assemblies & sub-assemblies -Prepare the Line Layouts, foundation layouts using the available inputs. -Timely completion of drawings -Ensures compliance to quality, safety & environmental standards as per ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 -Coordinate with the team for relevant inputs in generation of layouts / drawings. -To ensure steady & timely completion of drawings of equipments.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge in Auto CAD 2D & 3D, Inventor/Solid Works -Good understanding of hand-sketches, views and equipment drawings. -Good understanding of Line layouts, foundation layouts. -Drawings and BOMs made with very less or no errors. -Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsman / NCTVT from a reputed Institute, minimum 5 years of experience, in engineering / project / process / heavy engineering industry -Good knowledge of equipment related to Mechanical/Chemical. -Thorough knowledge of drawings, drafting standards and engineering standards. -Good exposure to line layouts, foundation layouts, structure assignments, especially of the continuous furnaces -Good in Communication, Fluency in English. -Must have experience in Auto CAD 2D & 3D, Inventor drawings handled independently.
