Tasks
-Inspecting, fault finding and defect elimination on HV and LV electrical equipment -Conduct job scoping and planning with accuracy -Identify potential issues and provide effective solutions to recover from setbacks -Assist with repair and maintenance activities and identify potential problems and solutions to recover from any setbacks -Carry out prescribed electrical work according to regulations

What You Bring
-Need to perform callouts and maintenance duties as a lone worker, with a travel between 28 regional substation -Tool of Trade Vehicle + Full PPE Gear + iPad + Phone -Experience with isolating and switching HV & LV network systems -Able to cope with the physical demands of the job and has a strong commitment to health and safety -Preferably working at height competencies and experience heavy industry & construction type skill set -Accurate record-keeping and reporting of the works undertaken -Be a registered electrician with a current practicing license -Experience in 11KV to 220KV Substation Construction or Maintenance is desirable -Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics & diagrams -New Zealand driver’s license
