Tasks

AP/Payment Monitoring -Review, monitor, and expedite payments to ensure compliance with project timelines. -Collaborate with engineering and project teams to verify that specifications meet functional and operational needs. -Monitor capital project payments against approved budgets. -Monitor and facilitate supplier setup and onboarding. -Review and approve purchase order (PO) creation. -Track project timelines, milestones, and key deliverables. -Provide closure oversight, ensuring proper documentation and compliance at project completion. -Facilitate approval processes for invoices and payments. -Lead commercial terms negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement policies. -Validate ECAC creation for accuracy and compliance. -Oversee project scope, ensuring alignment with capital expenditure objectives. -Ensure supplier proposals align with project scope, budget, and timeline. -Conduct commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, and delivery conditions. -Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to support project execution. -Ensure clear technical specifications are documented, validated, and aligned with end-user requirements. -Monitor ECAC approval processes to ensure timely completion. -Expedite procurement activities and follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders. -Provide Medius training and support to stakeholders. -Oversee and monitor Medius AP system including review and validation. -Provide training on ECAC processes as required. -Review and analyze supplier quotations and proposals per VTCR procurement guidelines. -Build and maintain a reliable and compliant supplier base. -Identify, qualify, and recommend vendors in line with project and business requirements. -Provide oversight and facilitation of procurement agreements.

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Capex Manager to oversee capital expenditure processes, procurement, and payment monitoring across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring that investments, supplier engagements, and project expenditures are executed efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with corporate policies and standards. The Capex Manager will collaborate closely with finance, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. -Strong organizational skills and financial acumen with attention to detail. -Knowledge of VTCR and GTC procurement guidelines. -Strong project management background with exposure to Capex tracking and reporting. -Ability to drive multiple capital projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. -Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). -Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation. -Experience with ECAC monitoring, validation, and reporting. -Familiarity with Medius or similar AP/Procurement platforms. -Proven experience managing capital expenditure projects, procurement, or financial oversight in an industrial or technical environment. -Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
