Tasks

-Ensure models are vigorously tested and validated. -Conduct testing and verification of GNC systems in laboratory and field environments. -Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure system requirements are met. -Model spacecraft systems using MATLAB and Simulink. -Design and develop guidance, navigation, and control algorithms and systems. -Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate GNC designs. -Develop and implement software for real-time GNC applications. -Prepare technical documentation and reports. -Stay current with advancements in GNC technologies and methodologies.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). -Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. -Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principals -Experience with system modeling and simulation tools. -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Must be able to obtain a security clearance. -Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time systems. -Knowledge of sensor fusion, Kalman filtering, and control theory. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Proven experience in the design and development of GNC systems. -Experience with aerospace and defense applications. -Must be a US citizen. -Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
