Tasks

In this role, you will provide engineering expertise and guidance to the Design Engineers and will make sure that the project is technically sound on schedule, and within cost. -Supervising installation and start-up teams -Preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders -Ensure the development of existing staff -Establishing resource schedules and assigning work -Use knowledge and past experience to develop solutions to our customer's packaging challenges -Establishing and maintaining project files -Develop proposals -Supervise cost, scheduling, and purchasing of equipment and services -Develop personal technical skills as well as those of co-workers -Supervise technical personnel assigned to the project -Ensure the development and implementation of design standards -Understand and determine customer needs and define services needed to provide an effective project -Monitor cash flow of project

What You Bring

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. -10 years of experience in packaging and production systems and/or automated manufacturing systems and the food, pharmaceutical, beverage, or consumer products industry is required -Experience mentoring and leading large teams -Degreed Engineer from ABET Accredited 4-year program

This range is specific to Livermore, CA and the actual salary will be determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
