Tasks

-Support team growth through training, client engagement, and professional development. -Respond to client needs as a senior project manager or client service lead. -Coordinate with internal teams, clients, agencies, and subcontractors. -Participate actively in proposal decisions and development, working closely with the marketing team. -Identify industry trends and use your expertise to engage clients and generate opportunities. -Assist in marketing Stantec’s water infrastructure services. -Lead and mentor water professionals. -Collaborate with marketing and business development to pursue new water and wastewater projects. -Use Stantec resources for successful technical outcomes. -Provide highquality consultation on water and wastewater infrastructure. -Represent Stantec at regional and national industry groups to promote our brand and experts. -Apply your knowledge to projects involving water collection, conveyance, storage, pumping, and treatment. -Create and maintain effective client account management plans. -Lead teams according to Stantec’s core values and make sound decisions for staff, clients, and business success. -Supervise and mentor staff for career advancement.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in public and municipal sectors associated with the planning, design, and/or construction of water infrastructure projects. -Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related field. -Knowledge of water policies, programs, and regulations relevant to New York City. -Strong client relationships and experience with New York City Department of Environmental Protection and related agencies and stakeholders. -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York or ability to obtain within one year. -Geographically based in New York City area, or willingness to relocate. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey complex issues to a variety of audiences, required.
