Structural Design Engineer

Overview

Design and analyze building structures using Revit and structural analysis software.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Participate in peer review process including review of designs and calculations -Perform routine aspects of structural engineering assignments under the supervision of the Structural Project Engineer or Structural Project Manager -Review submittals supplied by vendors, clients, engineers, architects, and contractors -Research building code issues and construction documents -Using Autodesk Revit Structure to prepare models and drawings for building structures and structural components -Perform onsite construction observation and produce observation reports -Assist in preparation of design calculations for building and non-building structures using different structural systems and materials
