Tasks
Reporting to the Bulk Plant Supervisor, the Bulk Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and infrastructure at our petroleum bulk plants, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and potentially some mechanical or electrical work. This is a full-time, permanent role, where the individual will oversee the daily operations of the Company’s bulk plant facilities, ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and address and resolve operational issues promptly. -Implementing and following maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures. -Ensure that all contractors, customers and vendors follow Company Policies and Procedures. -Performs all daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance and compliance inspections, and maintains required logs as appropriate. -Ensure bulk plants maintain safe spaces and practices. Ensures monthly safety inspections are completed. -Involved in tracking and maintaining inventory of spare parts and materials. -Communicate product outages and equipment downtime to appropriate individuals. -Participates as a member of the emergency response team. -May be required to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions. -Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment condition. -Performing routine maintenance and repairs on pumps, valves, piping, storage tanks, metering and gauging systems, and other equipment at the bulk plant. -Collaborate with other plant staff or external contractors.

What You Bring
-A continuous improvement attitude and are able to seek greater knowledge and understanding of the systems, process and hazards in the workplaces. -Working knowledge of bulk material handling equipment and machinery. Knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, and other equipment used in petroleum handling. Understanding of preventative maintenance practices. -Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. 24/7 on-call will be required at times when needed. -2+ years of related experience in petroleum bulk plant repairs and maintenance. -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. -Experience with logistics software and ERP systems. -Effectively and proactively communicating with supervisors and other team members regarding maintenance issues and work progress. -Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications. -Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. -Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to petroleum handling and maintenance TSSA codes. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -Ability to work in all weather conditions. -Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. -Willing to travel overnight when required. -Basic ability to connect to networks, working with IT. -Technical troubleshooting ability and able diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
