Conduct building inspections and code compliance for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems

Tasks

-Perform inspections of foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing and related construction activity -Perform third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections -Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections -Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy -Perform plan reviews and determine if the permitted design plans may require revisions and make recommendations to the contractors, engineers and/or architect -Follow ECS safety procedures and policies

What You Bring

-Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work. -Certifications are required for all types of testing performed. -2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems -NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required -High school diploma or GED required -Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures -If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
