Tasks

-Assist in the hand-off of secured projects to the Operations Team. -Be involved in the internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team. -Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing. -Prepare wage and benefit schedules. -Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s). -Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects. -Contract administration for secured projects. -Establish labor productivities for estimate. -Participate in the customer alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations.

What You Bring

-Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work and other factors for establishing margin percentages. -Experience with interior construction scopes. -Excellent communication and customer service skills. -Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid. -High level of attention to detail and cost analysis. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management. -OSHA Certification. -At least 3-5 years of estimating construction projects. -Experience with working with union representatives is preferred. -Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction. -Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work. -Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work. -Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
