Overview

Manage highway/transportation projects, client relations, QA/QC, and financial oversight.

Tasks

-Review and certify engineering documents to meet quality control goals and standards of care -Support proposal and business development efforts across RK&K -Serve as liaison between client and firm -Manage assigned project elements as an owner’s representative, ensuring contract compliance for roadway, structure, and bridge construction projects -Interpret contract requirements, provide technical guidance to staff, and ensure the quality of work products -Provide oversight and quality control and quality assurance for work performed under each agency contract -Recruit CEI technical staff -Update and track financial information, including cost projections for projects

What You Bring

-Alternative project delivery experience is a plus -Proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite software -Strong knowledge of project management planning related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance -Professional Engineering (P.E.) License -Possess an acceptable driving record -Experience leading and supporting project with local DOT, public and local government agencies as well as private entities -Understand Highway Design Standards, and other highway design manuals and guidelines -Ten (10)+ years of experience in civil engineering design and/or transportation/highway engineering -Strong understanding of Federal, State and local design criteria -Previous experience with Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) Capital Improvements, and local municipalities -BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
