Lead a team of technicians delivering preventive and corrective mechanical/electrical maintenance.

Tasks

-Oversees the proper application and execution of processes and practices to ensure achievement of and adherence to all requirements -Assists in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations through manner in which work is performed and services delivered -Oversees and monitors the activities and performance of Technicians within assigned facility. Ensures that activities are performed in accordance to established processes as well as internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection -Leads a team of individual contributors -Provides input for performance review -Coordinates and assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance program. Ensures that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documentations are maintained -Oversees and maintains all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required. Submits all expenditures on a timely basis -Oversees and monitors assigned facility by conducting facility walkthroughs, mechanical and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspection -Oversees and maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment -Oversees the maintenance of as well as maintains work order records within service management maintenance database. Initiates documents to obtain formal approval of work required -Guides, coaches and trains direct reports -Reviews work for completeness and accuracy. Ensures quality adherence is maintained -Oversees and performs regular facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems monitoring and inspection, preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met, uninterrupted client operation and asset integrity of assigned facility are maintained. Provides observations about facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repair -Oversees and responds to routine and on-demand service requests and performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems -Assigns, prioritizes and monitors work progress to ensure completion and adherence to timeliness, quality standards and all other related requirements -Coordinates and participates in facility-related projects -Provides, participates and supports training, safety meetings, operational meetings, tool box talks, etc.

What You Bring

-Ability to lead a team of individuals -Must be able and willing to work shifts, be available for on-call/standby and emergency call-outs as they arise -High school diploma plus trades training and certification -Highly advanced building mechanical and electrical equipment and system troubleshooting and resolution skills -Journeyman level Electrical license -Must be able and willing to drive to and perform work at multiple sites -Must meet enhanced security clearance requirements -More than 5 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience -Journeyman level Plumbing license -Must be able to work shifts, be on-call and be available to respond to emergencies -Possesses a high level of environmental, health and safety mindset. Ability to perform work in a safe manner -Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment -Effective communication skills for the purpose of data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification -Previous people leadership experience, preferred -Highly advanced ability to maintain and repair building mechanical and electrical equipment and systems -Current knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standards -Valid drivers’ license -Highly-advanced ability to adhere to processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance -Journeyman level Refrigeration license. Gasfitter I & II license in addition to a journeyman level refrigeration license, an asset -Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency
