Digital Services Coordinator (BIM)

Tasks

-Model Health and Coordination -Ensure projects have a defined BIM Execution Plan and champion fulfillment of the plan throughout the project’s lifecycle; coordinate contents of the BIM Execution Plan with contractors and the client, as required. -Model and Graphic Standards -Enhance the world around you - from the environment to the highways, to the buildings and the terrain, WSP is the fabric of Canada. -Act in a Digital Advisory capacity to assist project BIM teams in all design stages, from Schematic Design through to Construction, and into Facilities Management, as required. -Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and data into model and drawing packages; actively promote the usage of automation on BIM projects. -Set up, maintain, support, and troubleshoot projects and WSP hosted ACC project sites. -Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements -Drawing Presentation and Model Quality -Work with others on the Digital Solutions Team, assisting in the development and maintenance of company BIM standards, including but not limited to: Data Management and Digital Twin strategies Model and Graphic Standards Drawing Presentation and Model Quality BIM Execution Plan, LOD, and other BIM related documents Model Health and Coordination -Perform model checks; ensure general and project specific digital processes and workflows are communicated to the design team members, and that those processes and workflows are adhered to throughout the project life cycle.

What You Bring

-Experience in the Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) is a must; PowerBi is an asset. -Project set-up experience including the CDE, design models, and the preparation of construction documents in Revit while ensuring company BIM standards are adhered to. -Technical College Diploma or University degree in Structural / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Architectural considered an asset. -Knowledge of the interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools. -Experience in 3D design and multi-discipline coordination, managing models and facilitating data exchanges. -10 years of experience in BIM / Digital project delivery and coordination within the AECO industry, including Construction Administration. -Experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (including ACC Build) is required. -Familiarity in Dynamo, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Inventor, Point Clouds and Reality Capture
