The Role

Overview

Administers private leakage cases, managing customer communication, investigations and legal notices.

Tasks

-Drafting of internal communications around re-charging. -Drafting legal notices (pre-templated), and communicating directly with customers (phone, email, letter). -Working with our customers and third parties to address customer side leakage (supply pipe and plumbing loss) – through the utilization of our statutory powers (Water Industry Act 1991). -Managing a large volume of cases through the internal process. -Lifting heavy inspection covers -Investigating and advising on responsibility for land, property, and pipework through land registry searches and engagement (training provided).

What You Bring

-Problem solving, and the ability to identify more efficient ways of doing things. -Confidence to have challenging conversations with customers and to deal with conflict. -Problem solving to ensure the method of resolution considers both the customer and business interest. -Good IT skills (standard Microsoft type packages). -Accurate logging of information and correspondence within corporate systems -Ability to confidently communicate in Welsh. -Highly organized and self-motivated / driven. -Experience in customer service / management. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills (minimum qualification of GCSE A-C English or Welsh). -Work in all weathers which could include night work.
