Tasks

-Assist in the development of OH&Srelated programs and procedures, training modules -Provide occupational health and safety (OH&S) consulting services for a variety of projects and clients -Promote occupational, health, and safety within the company with a goal of continuous improvement of safety culture both internally and with our clients -Assist and support OH&S staff and projects domestically and internationally -Conduct OH&S compliance auditing -Assist with project prejob planning and hazard assessments -Perform appropriate monitoring for weather, heat stress, cold stress, chemical compounds, physical hazards, and other work environmental conditions, and ensure appropriate protocols are followed to protect workers

What You Bring

-Training and current certification for CPR/First Aid/AED is required, and able to respond to emergencies -Satisfactory driving record and valid driver’s license -Able to develop and present safety meetings and training -Knowledgeable in Federal and State regulations applicable to construction safety. -Possess “Competent Person” certification in construction safety disciplines related to the work performed, and possess verifiable training -Completed at minimum, the OSHA 510 & 500 Safety and Health Course (this requirement may be waived in place of a safety and health degree or professional safety certification) -Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software -Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or working towards certification by the Board of Safety Professionals -Capable of leading and/or supporting accident investigations and developing a concise accident root/apparent cause analysis
