Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, facilities, and electrical systems on 3rd shift.

Tasks
-Maintains Facility Equipment (Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Repairs) -He/ She will engage in the repair and maintenance of facility and production related equipment. This includes but is not limited to equipment involving automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, relays, and other mechanical and electrical components. -Determines root cause of failures and can recommend preventive actions to eliminate recurrence. -Prepares bills of material on jobs requiring major material use and initiates purchase requisitions. . -Constructs sketches of mechanical or construction alterations/installations and electrical circuitry. -Painting, Drywall, Plumbing, Cleaning, and general building maintenance -Troubleshoots failures involving multiple types of equipment and processes. -Troubleshoot equipment failures and faults and makes necessary repairs. -Troubleshoot & Repair Low Voltage & 120V electrical circuits – to include panel -Uses various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts, fork trucks and hand trucks in moving light to heavy weight material. -Carries out preventative maintenance procedures autonomously. -Installing Outlets and junction boxes -Installing conduit, pulling power, terminating into electrical panel -Communicates consistently with internal customers regarding status of equipment in shop. -The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing machinery and facilities related equipment. -Installing Network Cable -Uses a variety of lock-out/tag-out devices as required per plant LOTO Plan. -Advises supervisor of needs for outside services and works with service representatives on equipment and controls repair and installation. Shows competency in several crafts and performs handyman aspects in all trades. -Communicates recommendations, improvements, and findings both verbally and through work order system. -Troubleshoot & Repair Network Lines

What You Bring
-Strong mechanical skills. -Self-starter and motivated to maintain building/machines to 100% uptime via strong preventative activities. -Degree &/or certifications in Electrical/Mechanical skills (or equivalent) preferred. -Comprehension of schematics/blueprints. -Can read mechanical and/or electrical drawings and blueprints. -High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required. -Experience with Industrial Machinery preferred. -Knowledge of Hydraulic/pneumatic systems -Experience in running conduit, pulling wire, and terminating into electrical cabinet. -Three (3) plus years of experience in Maintenance is preferred. -Basic electrical skills required.
