Overview

Tasks

Instrumented Systems (SIS), configuration, graphics, logic programming, and safety lifecycle activities of plant control systems. -Serves as project technical advisor for ANSI/ISA-84 or IEC-61511 items. -Specification, SIL Verification Calculations, Safety Lifecycle Plans, GAP Analysis, Validation Procedures, etc. -Responsible for quality of the safety system portion of the project. -Communicates progress to the project manager for inclusion into reports to clients. -Responsible for configuration of SIS/BMS/FGS. -Candidate will plan, budget, organize and control an important segment of a typical safety systems project. -Lead the development of safety lifecycle deliverables e.g., Safety Requirements -Responsible for design, specification, selection and services relating to safety systems.

What You Bring

Contech Control Services is seeking team-oriented professionals who have knowledge in Safety Safety Instrumented Specialist (SIS) Travel: Maximum of 25%. -Familiarity with SIL calculation software e.g., ex SILentia, SIL Solver, or equivalent. -Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry. -BS Degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience., -5+ years of control system engineering experience. -PE certification related to Control Systems is preferable. -Proficient in Safety Instrumented Systems and possess the related functional safety lifecycle management knowledge. -Hands-on experience configuring one or more of the following systems: Triconex, Honeywell FSC & Safety Manager, DeltaV SIS, and Wonderware. -Knowledge of Microsoft software products. -TUV, CFSE/CFSP or equivalent certification is highly desired.
