Tasks
-Team Development: Develop and enforce Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction. -Goal Setting and Budgeting: Create annual Service Department goals and budget aligned with organizational objectives. -Marketing Plan Execution: Develop and execute the Service Department marketing plan, monitoring monthly to achieve goals. -Recruiting and Development: Manage recruiting, staffing, and employee development for the Service Department. -Claim Management: Submit service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within required timeframes. -Work Orders: Review work orders for completeness and accuracy before customer billing. -Equipment Maintenance: Ensure departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order. -Personnel Oversight: Open ROs, schedule, and assign jobs based on employees' skills and knowledge.

-Leadership: Experience leading a team and developing member’s professional skills. -Physical Demands: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas. -Driving: Must be able to drive and travel in a vehicle. For the purposes of driving, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. -Service Department Experience: 5+ years of experience in Service Department operations. -Software Proficiency: Ability to use standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office and internet functions. -Communication Skills: Effective writing and speaking skills for individuals and groups. -Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills. -Work Flexibility: Ability to work extended hours and weekends. -Financial Understanding: Basic understanding of financial principles related to Service Department operations. -Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. -Report Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
