Tasks

-Work closely with Team Managers to plan execution strategies, provide engineering estimates, identify risks and put mitigation strategies for new opportunities -Plant modelling in various simulation tools (MATLAB, RSCAD, PSCAD etc) and its verification. -Identify and drive improvements in engineering, operational tools, processes, systems & technical solutions to improve our customer value and business efficiency -Developing Department talent -Implement and maintain the control & protection system reference and customer solutions -Ensure that project plans contain the necessary activities and studies required to meet the requirements of the customer and the proposed technical solution. -Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements -Review and approve design documents, implement, and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost -Overseeing the overall technical solution that meets customer Requirement based on reference Solution. -Interface with customers -Creating References Solution, Engineering process & tools -Development of PSCAD Network Model, Control MATLAB application Model, Control system block diagram, ONM Manuals. MATLAB application unit and system integration testing. -Uphold the principles of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) within the teams. -Provide technical guidance. -Define the overall technical vision for control system design and architecture across the organisation. -Be the owner of all aspects of Control & Protection system deployment, system Configuration, and validation, as well as all usual integration challenges of the control & protection system -Lead and mentor a global team of Control & Protection engineers and specialists, fostering collaboration and technical development. -Drive consistent design practices and common global processes for projects.

What You Bring

-HVDC System in electromagnetic transient tools like PSCAD, EMTP-RV etc. -Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. -PSSE / PSCAD and PSSE / RSCAD Power system network conversion, modelling and verification.
