Overview

Night‑shift assembly of underground switchgear components and testing.

Tasks

-Set-up workstation to facilitate easier assembly and operate independently or on a group basis. -Assist QA/Engineering with problem solving for new product development as necessary. -Complete paperwork, enter labor, confirm production and move products to outgoing materials zone. -Interact with other departments as needed for advice and decisions. -Screen defective parts or make adjustments as necessary and report out any concerns to Team Leader or Supervisor. -Follow established working procedures.

This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -Must be able to walk/stand for an 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation. -Hi-Pot and Functional Testing -Minimum of 6 months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience -Trades training (or equivalent) of soldering and brazing operations, electronic terminology and symbols, and electrical circuits and electronics. -Ability to be flexible in work environment and perform multiple job functions within Department. -Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment. -Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. -Ability to read blueprints and drawings. -High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. -Must be able to lift 48lbs and push/pull 48 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
