Tasks

-Work in all types of weather conditions -Operate a Kubota and Backhoe -Repairs gas leaks -Using a shovel to hand excavate -Routinely operate jackhammers & rotary drills -Performs construction and maintenance on Elizabethtown Gas Company distribution systems -Installation of mains and services. -Responsible for completing all associated paperwork for the above described

What You Bring

-High School diploma; -Experience in construction work -Required to wear a full-face respirator -Valid NJ Driver's License -First response to potential leaks and other gas-related emergencies -Familiar with the use of air tools and construction equipment -Required to work Stand-By (24-hour on-call) -Locating and mark-outs -Hours/day of standing or operating in confined spaces (trench) -Required to drive company vehicles for short lengths of time throughout the day -Requires bending, kneeling, and operating tools in confined space conditions -Ability to lift 100 lbs. -May have to work for up to 16 hours straight during emergency conditions -Or equivalent academic education and experience may be considered.
