Tasks

-Join piping by means of fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupled joints -Join and maintain Union membership -Verify specifications by performing and recording Quality Assurance tests and measurements on a wide variety of equipment -Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify -Relight customer gas services, relocate meter set assemblies, perform hot changes -Apply for and pull plumbing permits, review plans and permits, communicate with customers -Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications -Examine and test gas piping systems for safety and quality

What You Bring

-1+ year prior gas utility plumbing experience -Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens -Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card -All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English -Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner -Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is preferred -Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling -High School diploma or equivalent -Valid Driver's License -Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
