Tasks

This role is critical to maintaining the performance and safety of our heavy equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in motor graders and excavators, and be capable of performing off-rental inspections, major repairs, and welding/fabrication tasks. -Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. -Carry out welding and fabrication tasks to restore or modify equipment components -Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed. -Diagnose and execute major repairs on motor grades, excavators, and other heavy machinery. -Perform comprehensive inspections on off-rental equipment to assess condition and readiness for redeployment

What You Bring

See the “Know Your Rights” poster available in English and Spanish. -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques. -2+ years of experience as a shop technician, preferably in construction environments. -Strong mechanical knowledge of motor graders and excavators. -Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
