Tasks

The Commissioning Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that modular data centers are installed, tested, and fully operational according to design specifications and client requirements. This role involves overseeing the commissioning process from factory testing through site deployment, including integration of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems. -Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). -Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning. -Conduct functional testing of electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, generators), HVAC, fire suppression, and monitoring systems. -Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications. -Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules. -Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to safety protocols and quality standards. -Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure readiness. -Prepare final commissioning reports and handover documentation. -Maintain detailed commissioning records, test results, and punch lists. -Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning. -Validate integration of IT infrastructure and network systems.

This role is an onsite position. You are required to report to the West Chester, OH facility 5 days a week. We celebrate IMPACT Makers and believe everyone has the potential to be one. -Strong understanding of modular construction and prefabricated systems. -3+ years of experience in commissioning, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience). -Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, and other monitoring/control systems. -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. -Willingness to travel to deployment sites as needed.
