Overview

Coordinate mechanical/plumbing construction admin for mission-critical projects.

Tasks

You will have the opportunity to contribute to hyperscale data centers, airport infrastructure, and other large-scale, technically challenging projects. These projects are fast-paced and require close collaboration with contractors, engineers, and project managers to deliver innovative solutions for clients in highly regulated environments. -Coordinate with project managers and engineering leads to track and close out all construction-related submittals and RFIs. -Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance, and identify deviations from design documents. -Review and respond to contractor RFIs and submittals related to mechanical and plumbing systems. -Mentor junior staff on best practices and foster strong team relationships. -Prepare observation reports and participate in commissioning planning. -Evaluate and improve construction administration processes, including QA/QC standards and close-out procedures. -Peer review design documents as part of the quality control process. -Act as the liaison between contractors and the design team during construction, addressing questions before they become formal RFIs.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, plus 5+ years of experience in design engineering or construction (mechanical and plumbing disciplines). -Ability to travel approximately 25%. -Equivalent construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. -Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass background checks or screenings as required by clients or federal contracts. -Experience with hyperscale data center projects or other mission-critical facilities is a strong plus.
