The Role
Overview
Publish and manage technical documents, ensure revision control and archives.

Tasks
-Format, edit, and publish technical documents as per company standards, ensuring on-time delivery in accordance with project deadlines. -Provide copies (hard or soft) of archived items as required. -Control released software issued on physical/magnetic media (e.g., diskettes, tape, hard drive, CDs, etc.) and programmable devices (e.g., EPROM, PAL, FPGA, etc.). -Ensure proper document revision control following Engineering Change Control processes. -Update and maintain databases for all released drawings, including off-site archives. -Acquire and maintain updated knowledge of Hitachi tools and applications, such as Livelink, ClearQuest, Shared Palma, SharePoint, Nitro, DOORS/Polarion, Citrix account, Web Cloud, etc. -Maintain high quality of work under pressure. -Provide assistance to staff on: -Log and file HW ECNs, verifying attachments are present. -Verify, validate, and maintain all soft copies of current drawings. -Support IT with traceability of Library archives and workflows. -Convert legacy document data in various formats (e.g., WordPerfect, DOORS) into current company standard formats (e.g., Word, Visio, PDF, etc.). -Document creation and update processes

-Candidates with an innovative and growth-oriented mindset, open to continuous learning, especially in the area of new AI technologies and skills, will be given priority. -Excellent written and verbal English skills. -Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with internal guidelines/directives. -Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with all team members. -Familiarity with Hitachi GTS Engineering tools, e.g., ClearQuest, Shared Palma, DOORS. -Minimum 2 years of experience with documentation control. -Advanced skills in document and file management/control tools, e.g., LiveLink, SharePoint, JFrog Artifactory. -Undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma in a relevant field. -Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a definite asset. -Ability to complete tasks on time with short and firm deadlines. -Experience editing and formatting documents and drawings; technical content preferred. -Capability to manage priorities with competing deadlines across multiple projects. -Strong administrative skills, including organization, problem-solving, time management, and effective communication. -Desktop publishing tools -Advanced computer literacy – Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Visio, etc.), Nitro. -Proficiency in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Arabic, in addition to English, may be desirable.
