Tasks

-Perform fiber optic splicing in various environments. -Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and client specifications. -Work with supervisors and project managers to plan daily tasks and meet project deadlines. -Provide field support during cutovers, emergency repairs, and restoration activities. -Test and troubleshoot fiber optic networks using OTDRs, light meters, and other diagnostic tools. -Interpret splicing diagrams, work orders, and engineered prints. -Complete splice documentation, labeling, and testing reports accurately.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of OTDRs, fusion splicers, cleavers, and related tools. -2+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing or telecommunications construction. -Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to multiple job sites, preferred -Your choice of PPO, HSA, FSA -Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. -Ability to read and interpret splicing diagrams, route maps, and engineering prints. -Experience with both single-mode and multi-mode fiber, preferred.
