Tasks

-Partner with key leaders of the organization to align project requirements with employee capabilities and availability. -Responsible for continuously mentoring and developing direct reports and project staffing alignment with the firm’s cultural attributes. -Support the development of the firm through the growth of client relationships. Share firm expertise and capabilities with existing and targeted clients. -Plan and manage time to maximize efficiency and drive results. -Actively participate in BHDP’s culture of continuous improvement by regularly sharing expertise, knowledge, and wisdom with internal team members. -Maintains responsibility for fully embracing and executing the Design Process on all assigned projects, regularly monitoring the use of the Design Process and communicating the steps and benefits to staff and clients. -Serve as the main point of contact within BHDP for key clients for active and future design projects. -Identify and analyze problems, generating alternative solutions to make effective and timely decisions. -Maintain a sense of urgency to complete tasks. Take a proactive, resourceful, and decisive approach to new challenges. -Responsible for leading large-scale projects (net fees $1.5M - $2M) and ensuring delivery on all aspects of the project, including maintaining fee proposals, managing revenue forecasts, and ensuring project staff are achieving their targets related to financial and quality metrics. -Deliver high client satisfaction, going out of your way to solve problems and find innovative solutions. -Develop project work plans and actively manage the plans to ensure successful and timely completion. Assume full responsibility for the project’s progress.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 12 years of experience in architecture is required. -A bachelor’s degree in architecture is required. -Ability to travel approximately 25%, as needed. -Architectural registration required. -Adapt and respond quickly to new situations with fresh ideas.
