Maintain grounds, landscaping, and facilities at HMP Cardiff prison.

Tasks

-Painting sundry equipment. -Setting out, making sports pitches including grass and tarmac with upkeep of artificial, synthetic pitches in recreational areas. -Erect and dismantle equipment, operating light plant and power tools, undertake cutting equipment checks.

What You Bring

-Experience in operating light plant and equipment and wheeled tractors. -Qualified in the use of grounds maintenance machinery including Chainsaw Wind Blown Trees (CS 34) CS30/CS31 and Chainsaw maintenance and Cross Cut -Membership of our Affinity Networks who connect, support and inspire diverse communities within Amey. -Weed spraying certificate. -Comfortable working alongside prisoners. -Understanding of Health and Safety Legislation. -Knowledge and experience of gardening, horticulture operations and grounds maintenance type duties. -Full driving licence.
