Tasks

-Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety on-site -Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns -Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients -Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers throughout all project phases -Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering practices -Prepare detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawing packages for projects -Design, analyse, and evaluate structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations

What You Bring

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering -Experience with structural calculation software (SpaceGas, MS Tower, Checkpole or similar) -Proven experience in structural design and engineering, with a focus on telecommunications or vertical infrastructure -Strong understanding of material properties and structural analysis techniques -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment -Familiarity with relevant New Zealand design codes and standards -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly
