The Role
Overview
Lead delivery of major water infrastructure projects, overseeing scope, budget, schedule, and risk.

Tasks
-Work with the technical teams in coordinating and managing the design consultants and other external service providers. -Oversee and monitor the delivery of the project around the schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract, and risk, liaising with the relevant team members and functions as required. -Maintain the overall project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings. -Develop cost estimates. -Have the ability to set up ongoing procedures to collect and review information as needed. -Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates, and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager. -Report monthly on the tasks throughout the project’s lifecycle including construction works (during the construction phase) that have been undertaken. -Detailed review of Contractor’s design and deliverables. -Develop the Project Execution Plan, ensuring the project is aligned to and delivered in accordance with the Contracting Entity’s standards and methods.

What You Bring
-Have a strong knowledge & experience of contract administration & delivery. -Have a good knowledge & experience of Health & Safety legislation and regulations, -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Experience in operating on-site, not just office-based an advantage. -Planning capability and ability to use Oracle Primavera 6 scheduling system an advantage. -Experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project delivery. -Knowledge of operating as a client’s project manager. -Report writing skills. -Capacity to self-motivate. -Have a strong knowledge & experience of project management methodologies, -Qualification in project management such as PMP, and PRINCE II will be advantageous. -Relevant third-level qualification in engineering or related discipline. -Track record of delivering construction/asset delivery projects on time and within the allocated budget. -Computer literacy. -Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure project outputs that meet required standards. -Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in the Construction / Infrastructure sector on projects of a similar size and complexity. -Have a strong water engineering technical capability.
