Precast Engineer

Overview

Design and engineer precast concrete components for civil/structural projects.

Tasks

-Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards. -Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions. -Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle. -Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs. -Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards. -Execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently. -Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables. -Support cost estimation. -Engage with dynamic groups such as the Community Impact and Fun Committees, Fisher Minds (ERG), and the Employee Advisory Group.

What You Bring

-0 - 5 years minimum of transportation/structural engineering experience -Concrete design engineering course or design experience preferred -Highly adaptable and proactive in meeting deliverables and deadlines -Proven ability to deliver high quality work and solve problems with critical thinking and sound judgment. -EIT or ability to obtain it -You thrive in a culture that celebrates fun and fosters a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere, so you can bring the best of yourself to work every day. -B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred -Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
