Tasks

-Attends and actively participates in a local, evangelical church -Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith -Supports LMCM Mission by making disciples of Jesus Christ through our community involvement -Plans and builds sets for 2 mainstage shows -Gives students consistent and regular feedback -Reaches out to parents regularly to communicate student successes, challenges, and behaviors -Oversees crew and other technical production aspects to ensure shows and tech run smoothly -Oversees students while building and makes sure students are following safety rules -Grades materials within a timely manner and enters into FACTS -Manages various project budgets and collaborates with VAPA admin team for orders and purchases -Follows school policies in the classroom -Writes weekly lesson plans

What You Bring

-Uses Google Classroom and FACTS -Bachelor's degree in Theatre Education, Technical Theatre, Theatre Arts, or Secondary Education or related field (In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience) -Possesses a strong desire to work creatively with students -A minimum of five (5) years of experience in professional tech theatre, higher education, or related experience -Demonstrates spiritual flourishing through prayer, Bible study, and outreach to others -Possesses a strong desire to win back the arts for Christ -Evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in dealing with people -Spiritually mature Christian in agreement with the LMCM Statement of Faith and committed to the mission, vision, and core values of the LMCM Ministry
