Assist engineers in creating drawings, calculations, and design deliverables using AutoCAD/Revit.

Tasks

-Perform existing drawing research -Review codes and create project design specifications -Expand capabilities with drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or others -Assist experienced Structural Engineers with their activities as requested -Update Nexus graphics standards -Develop Nexus templates for the Structural Department -Design 2-D graphics using AutoCAD, and 3-D graphics using Revit

What You Bring

-Ability to work within diverse teams assembled from Nexus, clients, and others -Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit or other drafting software desired -Introduced to STAADPRO for finite element analysis -Exposure to and application of industry codes and standards related to the structural discipline functions -Exposure to STAADPRO or similar packaged finite element programs a plus -Effective communication skills in order to convey ideas is a must -Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and WordSeeks feedback to improve performance -Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent education) in Civil Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
