Overview
Maintain fleet vehicles, equipment, and facility upkeep at All Things Metal.

Tasks
-Assist with shop and building projects including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and light fabrication -Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and inspections -Can handle routine maintenance on forklifts, trucks, generators, and shop machinery -Diagnose, repair, and maintain company fleet vehicles, forklifts, small engines, generators, and shop equipment -Prioritize work orders and minimize downtime -Conduct test drives and functional tests to verify quality of repairs -Assist with parts runs and pick-ups when needed -Perform small tool repair and welder maintenance -Track and document repairs and maintenance performed -Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas

What You Bring
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation -Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication -Is willing to assist with building, electrical, plumbing, and shop projects during downtime -Strong mechanical aptitude with a “diagnose and solve” mindset -Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic -Clear communication and ability to work well with a team -Basic understanding of electrical, building, and mechanical systems -Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work outside, and stand for extended periods -Has hands-on experience with vehicle, small engine, or equipment repair -Experience working on vehicles, forklifts, small engines, or similar equipment -Comfortable using hand and power tools safely -Ability to juggle multiple priorities and shift between mechanic and general maintenance tasks -Ability to pass background check and drug screen (including Motor Vehicle Report and Marijuana as a disqualifier) -Enjoys variety, problem solving, and keeping operations running smoothly -Dependable, organized, and self-directed -2+ years mechanical maintenance experience or completion of a technical/trade school program
