Tasks

-Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for municipal projects, ensuring compliance with Florida statutes, agency regulations, and utility design standards -Lead the planning, permitting, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in Florida, including: water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, stormwater management and drainage infrastructure, roadway and transportation improvements, municipal utility coordination with agencies and jurisdictions -Collaborate closely with engineers, technical designers, CAD/modeling staff, and planners throughout project execution -Conduct field investigations, attend client and agency meetings, and support construction-phase services -Promote practical, cost-effective design solutions that meet long-term municipal infrastructure need -Prepare and oversee construction documents including civil/site plans, technical specifications, design reports, and cost estimates, ensuring adherence to CPH’s quality standards -Ensure all work aligns with client goals and quality expectations through proactive communication and coordination -Coordinate with permitting agencies including FDEP, FDOT, and local water management districts -Support Project Managers in developing scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and resource plans

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida -Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with emphasis on: water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, stormwater management and drainage infrastructure, roadway and transportation improvements, and municipal utility coordination -Working knowledge of agency requirements including FDOT, FDEP, local Water Management Entities, etc. -Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Bleu Beam, Deltek Vision or Smartsheet is a plus -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
