Tasks

-Coordinate 3D models from multiple disciplines and ensure clash detection and resolution. -Ensure project teams follow relevant BIM standards (ISO 19650, BS/PAS 1192, etc.). -Lead and manage the implementation of BIM processes across all phases of design, construction, and handover. -Develop in house systems and workflows with a strong focus on automated design via Dynamo, Python or similar. -Review project deliverables and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with client and regulatory requirements. -Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction -Act as a key point of contact for clients as an MEP lead engineer with responsibility for technical and commercial delivery of projects. -Support digital documentation and asset information management for facilities management integration. -Collaborate with IT to maintain and optimize BIM software and infrastructure. -Develop digital roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks for digital delivery. -Delivery of engineering projects to high levels of quality within project deadlines -Implement automation workflows/tools for clash detection, resolution, and avoidance to enhance coordination efficiency and model accuracy. -Preparation of proposals and seeking and winning new work with existing clients -Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), MIDP, TIDP, project-specific workflows, and data management protocols. -Lead digital upskilling initiatives for internal teams. Provide training, mentoring, and support to internal teams on BIM tools and workflows (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ ACC, etc.). -Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Lead – MEP to join our multidisciplinary consultancy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across various design and supervision projects. You will play a key role in driving digital design excellence, ensuring model accuracy, coordination, and efficiency in line with project and client requirements. -Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant tools. -10+ years of experience in BIM coordination or management roles. -Client oriented and contributes to commercial success of the division -Familiarity with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and model checking software. -Deep knowledge of BIM, CDEs, ISO 19650, and digital twin principles. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related discipline. -Strong understanding of BIM standards and digital construction methodologies. -Excellent communication and coordination skills. -Preferably staying in Dubai
